Mr. Sultan-Ul-Arfeen Mr. Sultan-ul-Arfeen, 72, Chairman. He also chairs the Board Audit Committee. He has over 40 years of successful international business experience, which includes significant entrepreneurial and leadership roles. This included the position of the Managing Director of the Arfeen Group, recognized as one of the most professionally managed and diverse conglomerates in Pakistan. The Group commenced its business life over 120 years ago. Its current business portfolio includes petrochemicals, chemicals, telecommunications, building materials, substantive real estate development, leisure, and lifestyle management. He is acknowledged for his innovation and pioneering abilities in telecommunications, counter trade and barter operations with foreign/local governments. Mr. Arfeen is a highly regarded captain of industry in Pakistan and the Region. He has a B.Sc degree.
Mr. Shams ul Arfeen Mr. Shams ul Arfeen, 42, is the group CEO handling a huge spectrum of corporate responsibilities diligently. He exudes significant entrepreneurial skills and leadership qualities which reflects through his prudent decision making quality. He is acknowledged for his out of the box thinking and finding solutions to problems arising out of the operations on a daily basis. His association with one of the most diverse conglomerates in Pakistan has been a source of inspiration and pride for the management of the Company. He is a gold medalist and holds a master’s degree from IBA.
Mr. Shahid Firoz Mr. Shahid Firoz, 64, Chief Executive Officer of Port Grand Limited and Director of the Arfeen Group. He has successfully steered the Group towards the pinnacle of Commerce Industry in Pakistan. Member of a number of prestigious blue chip boards in the private and public sectors locally, and globally. Notable ones include the Board of Investment since 2003 chaired by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. He is the Chairman of the Task Force on Urban Revival in Sindh which developed the governance model for Karachi, and presented the ‘Vision 2007’. Member Board of Advisors to the Minister of Science & Technology, and Member of the prestigious Young Presidents’ Organization. In 2004, he was appointed as a Member of the Social Economy Committee of the Think Tank on Globalization at the Rome based Forum. He also sits on some of the international Boards of Telecom Companies. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Patrick’s College and studied Business Administration at IBA, University of Karachi.
